lofihead numero due

approx made 2000 or 2001.

here i used some flat panel drivers. I thought that would be good because they looked like strong drivers and had no difragm.so it was easy to glue something on the driver...


I constructed some kind of conical links.

these conical links I produced on a rapid prototyping machine..kind of a 3D printer..very very practical heheh


 

sound was shit....because the drivers

i used some parts of the SC-99 prototype.. the aluangle and the whole torque tube....

centering springs are not strong enough.during cutting the coil was pushed against the outer wall of the polepiece and so there was no movement anymore...
