the i-mouser
electronic mousetrap built out of a junked pc powersupply and some other stuff

me and my friend hot glue built a super high junk mouse trap...
becauseall my favorate chocolate was eaten away...
the traces looked as the theft must have been a mouse...
.....but this assumption was wrong..but read on.

i used a pc-powersupply old
a solenoid. i had it around .... 12V 4-5mm stroke
a IR led out of the junk box
a IR receiver out of the junkbox

i recycled the cables, transistors from the pcb of the powersupply.
some hotglue and a piece of alluminium for the door.

but pictures say more than thousand words....let the glue be hot.





unfortunately the "mouse" i especially built this mousetrap never got caught.... it turned out to be a rat. and from the day it started to
eat my chocolate to the day if installed the mousetrap the rat got so fat that the door was too small. so next time i will make the door a little bit bigger...

any sucessfull chases will be reported... but i hop not to use again.

if someone needs i will rent the trap!!!
